White Roofing and Contracting was started in 1955 by founder, Louis J. White, in Sidney, Illinois. His mission was to provide the Champaign County area with the highest quality craftsmanship available.  The company has grown throughout the years with the help of dedicated employees and staff.

In 1970 his son, Larry White, began working as an employee. He shared the same belief in quality work as his father. In 1999, Larry became the second owner of White Roofing. With 48 years of experience, Larry is still proud to offer the highest quality of craftsmanship available on today’s market!

Don't expect the lowest price, but this is a case where you really do get what you pay for, and you will probably save in the long run. I have a 1,400 square foot ranch, with an L shaped roof with two small gables to complicate the job. White's Roofing proposal included full stripping and replacement of the shingles, with appropriate underwork, including some copper, full roof ridge venting, and some extra vent connections I requested. I was particularly impressed that one of the family members fully participated throughout the entire job, working on-roof with the rest of the crew.
